Physical Exams

The Elyria City Health District operates a well child clinic that can provide complete physical exams to children from birth to age 21.

Components of the exam may include:

1. Vision, hearing and speech screening

2. Blood testing for anemia & lead level

3. Urine testing

4. Age appropriate immunizations

5. Developmental Screening

6. Counseling for nutrition, safety and age appropriate behavior

Referrals can also be made for:

1. WIC

2. Speech therapy

3. Preventive Dental Services

4. Pediatrician

5. Genetics counseling

The well child clinic provides physicals by appointment only on a sliding fee schedule.  Please contact ECHD at 284-1567 to schedule an appointment.   Please note that ECHD does not provide "sports physicals" for student athletes.
