The Elyria City Health District offers programs to promote the health and safety of children and their families.  Registered Nurses provide services in the well child clinic through physical exams.  Nurses also provide services in the home through ongoing supportive programs.

These programs provide information and assistance to parents about the growth and development of young children, and to act as an advocate for families with children with special health care needs.

ECHD also provides services by a dentist and dental hygenist to provide dental sealants to eligible children through our School Dental Sealant Program.
